I'm Phil & I designed this site to showcase my photography (digital & more recently film) & also to write about various aspects of photography. I particularly enjoy shooting landscapes & street scenes.

At work I am a tester on linux. Linux is one of my main interests & I have been playing about with it since I was young.

I recently completed 2 years study of Japanese in Sapporo, Japan. Learning Japanese is one of the best things I have ever done & I find it a fascinating language.

The title of this site is a reference to Feeling Strangely Fine, Semisonic's third album & my all-time favourite.
